July 26th, 2014 - Strand Scores Top Five and Top Ten Finishes in Weekend Action
1Saturday, July 19th the Strand team competed at the Devils Lake Speedway in Devils Lake, ND for their WISSOTA Modified special and after a 4th place finish in the heat race, Jason started 7th in the feature and raced his way into the top 5, coming home with a 5th place finish in the event.

Thursday, the team brought the Midwest Modified to the Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN and after suffering a flat tire in his heat race, Jason stormed from his 14th starting position to an impressive second place finish in the feature event behind winner Rich Pavlicek.

Saturday, July 26th, the team brought the Midwest Modified back out to the Devil's Lake Speedway and ran third in the heat race and then advanced from 11th to finish 8th in the feature event.

July 18th, 2014 - Strand Lands Top Ten at Norman County; Struggles at River Cities
1 Jason and the E85 team competed in a pair of events this past weekend. Thursday night the team took part in a WISSOTA Modified event at the Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN, where Jason raced from 7th to 3rd in his heat race, putting his machine on the pole for the feature. Jason then raced inside the top ten during the entire main event, eventually settling in for a ninth place finish.

1Friday night, the E85 team made the trip to the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND for the track's first of three Modified events of the 2014 season. A great field of 36 WISSOTA Modifieds signed in and Jason started third in his heat and finished third and then started 11th in the feature, but was forced to retire early from the main event, ending his night prematurely.

July 11th, 2014 - Jason Strand Enters 25th Annual Dakota Classic Modified Tour
1 Jason and the E85 team continued their support of the Dakota Classic Modified Tour and unloaded on Wednesday night at the Southwest Speedway in Dickinson, ND which saw a field of 80+ cars compete once again. Jason's night started off rough as he was forced to retire early from his heat race and then tried to rally from the tail of a b-main, but settled in for an eleventh place finish, missing the night's feature event.
 
Thursday night, the team followed the tour to the Dacotah Speedway in Mandan, ND, where a series record 93 IMCA Modifieds attempted to qualify for the night's feature event. Jason drew a high number, which put him 11th in his heat race and although he rallied to finish sixth, that put him in the fifth row of a b-main. The competition was fierce in the b-mains as well with only the top four finishers transferring to the feature and Jason settled in for a twelfth place finish in the event.
 
The Dakota Classic Tour wrapped up on Friday night at the Jamestown Speedway in Jamestown, ND with another giant field of 80 Modifieds for the week long finale. Jason finally drew a good number and started on the pole of his heat race, which he won going away, putting his #E85 into the feature on the final night of the 2014 tour. Jason started third in the main event and raced amongst the leaders during the entire distance, winding up ninth in the final rundown. A top ten finish amongst this large and talented field of drivers was a great way to wrap up the week.

July 8th, 2014 - Jason Strand Enters 25th Annual Dakota Classic Modified Tour
1Jason and the E85 Racing Team have decided to tackle the ever grueling Dakota Classic Modified Tour for IMCA Modifieds, which kicked off on Sunday, July 6th at the Nodak Speedway in Minot, ND. A star studded field of 84 competitors from across the US and Canada converged on the first night of tour which saw Jason finish 9th in his heat race and retire early from the b-main, ending his night prematurely.

Monday, July 7th, the team headed north of the border to the Estevan Motor Speedway in Estevan, Saskatchewan for night number two of the tour, which saw another whopper of a car count, with 76 competitors making the trip into Canada. Jason raced from 8th to 5th in his heat race and then maintained his 7th starting spot to finish 7th in the b-main, but did not transfer into the feature event.
 
Tuesday, July 8th, the team made their way back into the USA and hit night three of the tour at the Williston Basin Speedway in Williston, ND, where another 76 car field was on tap and saw Jason pass a pair of cars from his 10th starting spot in his heat race to finish 8th and then his night ended with a 10th place finish in the b-main.

July 3rd, 2014 - Strand Kicks off Holiday Weekend at Norman County
1 Jason Strand kicked off the 4th of July holiday weekend with a bang at the Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN in IMCA Modified competition.

Jason raced from 6th an impressive heat race win and then again started sixth in the feature event and ended up a solid second to Mike Johnson when all was said and done after a hard fought event.
